It helps me when I eat my breakfast slowly. So instead of a bowl of cereal and milk I have a string cheese and put either Fiber Plus cinnamon oat cereal or Kashi Heart to Heart oat cereal in a bag. Then I can eat one piece at a time, get lots of fiber, and enjoy the crunch longer

Recently, I've made 'small' but important changes. Like: change from 2% milk to 1% , then to skim. Toast tastes just as good with a thin skim of oleo, not slathered on. Ice milk or frozen yogurt is as tasty as ice cream. Have cereal for snack in place of salty, fatty snacks.
Packing a bag of food keeps me from visiting the cafeteria or vending machines. It save money and calories/fat. 9
I pack on a daily basis: a water bottle with a few extra bottles of water in case I can't tap into a water source, fresh fruit and veggies, gluten free cereal for snacking, a salad, and pecans. I keep it in a cooler with cold packs to keep the food cold.
