Secrets of Success

Consistency With Exercise

Having the same routine on a weekly basis keeps me focused. I vary the CDs and the type of exercise, but I strive to maintain at least 30 minutes daily first thing in the morning. Having a schedule keeps me on track.

More Information:

I have a large selection of exercise CDs and a variety of small, space saving items like stretch bands, hand weights to use with my workouts. Convenience is the key.

  • 30 minutes daily with some particular types of exercises (...some that I can do and I enjoy to do) - that works for me. But I can't determine myself to do them in the morning :) Anyway, the idea to keep a adaptable routine I think it's good. - by ALADDIN11
  • I have been telling myself this all along - that I need to choose certain times of the day to exercise, and stick to it. Make "appointments" to workout, whether it be the treadmill, aerobics, strength training, etc, as long as it's the same times each day...or at least as close as I can get to it! Thanks for the spark - I'm new here, and I can use all the help I can get! emoticon - by MIMI-NANNY

Consistency with exercise is a big problem for me, but......I KNOW that I have to exercise for fitness & cardiovascular reasons.
I LOVE doing activities outside, but also use DVDs at home.

Peace & happiness to you and yours,
