I struggle to drink water so I've started filling 2, 1 litre bottles with a very weak cordial. I will start drinking one in the morning, take the second to work (and make sure i've finished it before i leave) and then finish the first in the evening. This way I'm getting my 2 litres a day and I'm enjoying it.

Water is important when trying to loose weight and I hated drinking water. So I started off slowly by drinking 1 glass a water every hour, then I got to two glasses an hour, now I'm at two glasses every half an hour. The more water you drink the better.
If you don not like water, alternate it with something else!
I have a terrible time drinking water because ever since I was little I absolutely hate the taste (or lack of one?). But I know I need that water, so what I do is alternate drinking water with something else. I have a 24 oz bottle (3 cups), so I'll drink one of those and then switch it out with maybe a glass of milk or a glass of juice or some Gatorade for a little flavor and something that I like. I find that, for me, hating drinking water as much as I do, it's an easy way to motivate myself.
I *hate* drinking water! So I fill up my 24-ounce cup with water and sip on it throughout the day. When it's empty, I take it downstairs to refill. As I pass by the freezer, I reward myself with one piece of dark chocolate. This works wonders! It's only like 36 calories and I have something to look forward after drinking my water! Three times of filling my glass = 3 pieces of chocolate and 9 cups of water drank! That's amazing!!
