Swap out pasta and use a spaghetti squash instead! Cooks quick in the microwave for 5 minutes or can be cooked in the oven for 45 minutes (I prefer oven)! Cook up any veggies and protein you'd usually put in a pasta, and when the squash is done, scrape it out and toss it all together! It's just as delicious as pasta, but for way less calories! emoticon

  • For those pesky squash bugs use a solution of dish detergent and water and spray under your leafs routinely. When you start seeing eggs spray them and use your thumb to remove them. Squash bugs are not so bad if you get rid of them at the beginning of the season, otherwise you are at their mercy. - by JRHKUNA
  • You can also bake and freeze. Just cut in half, bake open side down on a sprayed cookie sheet, scrape into baggies, and freeze. That was my plan for last year's garden, but alas the stupid squash bugs had other plans for my plants. - by VALERIENEAL
