I find starting the day with gratitude (i.e. health, family, friends, job, etc) helps make my spirit soar. I'm better able to cope with all that life throws at me when my soul is riding above the fray.

I do not let the fact that I have PCOS effect how I live my life or the fact that it makes weight loss harder then it does for other women. I make the most of my life as it is and each day at a time I progress towards my goal!

My dietitian taught me to listen to my body for hunger cues. For example, I am not that hungry at lunchtime, but starving after I go to the gym. SO I now have a snack at lunchtime and lunch in mid afternoon when I get back from the gym. She told me to make sure I have plenty of protein then.
By listening to when my body is hungry, it leads to eating more when I need it and less when I do not.
