I take wet washcloths and put them in sandwich bags. Then I freeze them. I sometimes walk my neighborhood on hot days, and if I get hot, I slip into the house and wipe down with a frozen washcloth. It feels great. Or do it anytime you feel overheated.

since my shoulder surgery, i found i went through cold paks real quick. now, i take a few thick washcloths, wet them realy good, put them in separate ziplock bags, and throw them in the freezer. for heat, i wet a washcloth in the microwave for about 45 sec, wrap it in a thin towel for a nice hot pad
