During warm weather everyone is light hearted, ready to go. Families get together, people travel, yards are made pretty with flowers and shrub. Let's not forget the luscious food that comes from home grown gardens. Don't you wish you could take half of that energy, togetherness and pull it over to the cold weather. People snuggles in their homes life goes on. Visiting is forgotten, people are left alone. Sports are stopped, not a lot of winter ones to do. Remember in all seasons to visit, call.

I find changing a few words changes your world. Like I try not to say workout but play time, fun time, time getting move, and social time(walking with a friend). I think of working with the PTball and strength training as performing and circus training. 334
Can't get enough excercise time in? Don't want to give up family fun time for boring excercise time? When the kids are playing at the park, walk around the play area and try these other tips! 311
1) Walk around the sandbox or playground area while the kids play 2) Go for a stroll through the park or neighborhood with the kids or your other half 3) Always bring bottled water to get your drink on! 4) Bring physical toys (baseball, etc) to play with together at the park! 5) RACE the kids!
When I was in my twenties a good time with the gilrs used to mean meeting for dinner and drinks after work. Two kids and a mortgage later both my hips and my wallet don't like the idea of this weekly "treat" Now my friends and I enjoy a girls night out with a walk around the lake or a game of catch with guys in the front yard. Instead of ingesting all those extra calories we burn a few instead :) having a fun time with friends to look forward to also helps me keep up my solo workouts.
