I purchase many of my DVD's at thrift stores for a fraction of the cost of a new DVD. Finds include Slim in 6 for $3.00, Power 90, Leslie Sampson, Cathe, Yoga DVD's and many others. The supply is always changing and it seems like I always find a new workout for pennies.I have also picked up exercise equipment like new for almost nothing.

I do the same. I picked up a "Thigh and Leg Exerciser" - a heavy duty machine that is more like a weight machine that you do leg presses on - well, it was still in the box new, and I got it for $10. It is a really nice peice of equipment. I also pick up exercise tapes.
