Splurge At The Fair

This Sparked Me!

Yesterday we went to our County Fair and we all KNOW that a FAIR is not healthy-eating friendly! Before SP, I would bemoan all the food I COULDN'T eat, but I had purposed beforehand that I would have ONE thing: a chocolate ice cream cone from our local dairy. I brought all the rest of the food for my kids and me to eat. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my splurge and didn't feel for ONE minute that I was cheating on my diet because I'm NOT on a diet but a journey towards healthier lifestyle. emoticon

MORE INFORMATION:
My ice cream cone [single dip] I figured was about 300 calories and 10 grams of fat which I calculated on my food tracker.

That took for thought and prep time. And Fair food is expensive, so I'm thinking of all the money you saved in addition to the calories by taking your home made picnic!
Great job!
