I enjoy watching T.V. and usually rather watch a show than exercise for an hour. However if you can do crunches, jump rope, bicep curls and stretching during commercials. A different exercise for each commercial break as many set you can do while staying in proper form. You won't miss your shows and you won't feel the agony of exercising you just got in! And no guilt for watching T.V.! emoticon

    I am horrible at making myself exercise!! Putting the weights by the couch would be perfect and would inspire me to get more workouts in!! emoticon

    I keep resistance bands and small dumbells by my desk to use while downloading or other computer related delays. I also have my cardio bike in front of the tv.

    I do not get demand only get basic cable. I use the DVD I receive free from Spark people. I usually walk my dog through out the day and if I am watching a show he barks to go out. I take him outside as soon as I can to prevent accidents. I would love to try working out during commercials.

    Usually I head for a snack during commercials, this is a much better idea. Double bonus, I'll get my exercise in and save on the calories from not snacking. I can do this and not hate it, too.

    This is how I get my exercise in Monday - Friday. I have a little more than an hour train ride, so when I get home in the evening exercising doesn't come easy! But I have incorporated at least an hour during my favorite show. emoticon

    Great job fitting something in. I don't get to watch much T.V. but if there is a show I have time to watch, and really want to watch it, I will sometimes do a little time on the stationary bike. Usually I am doing homework after the kids go to bed, instead of getting to watch T.V. But I try to take a quick break every hour and do some squats, or push ups, or jumping jacks to get the blood flowing.

    excelllent idea. If you have a stationary bike you could also put it in front of a tv and time would fly by.

    During football season I like to exercise each commercial and qtr by doing 2or3 agreed upon exercises. So if you watch all day SUNDAY you get a great workout!! emoticon
