If you are sitting around watching your favorite show, take the time during commercial breaks to do a small chore.

Here is a list of tiny chores that you can do during a commercial break.

1. Put a load of laundry in
2. Straighten up a room
3. Clean a toilet or sink
4. Take out the trash
5. Make a bed
6. Dust for a few minutes
7. Sweep your kitchen floor
8. Throw out old food in your fridge
9. Sort mail
10. Tidy up a kitchen cabinet or drawer

The possibilities are endless.

    I started this when my kids were little as a way to get them to clean up after themselves,without the chore being overwhelming!Now that they are grown,with homes of their own,I still do this... when I am feeling a bit sluggish.Sometimes I forget to get back to the show I've been watching! emoticon

    That is surely a great way to avoid being a victim of all the junk food commercials!
