Spaghetti sauce doesn't just have to be plain old tomato, oregano, and garlic. If you throw a bunch of veggies in the Cuisinart and let them stew with the tomato sauce (you may have to add some ketchup--yes, ketchup--to make it more tomato-y), you can add loads more nutrition (and flavor!) to your pasta.

I like to puree veggies or fruits and sneak them into baked goods, mashed potatoes(pureed cauliflower) and in turkey burgers to add flavor. I also add to smoothies to get my intake of fruits and veggies. My son doesn't know that he is eating veggies and doesn't complain.
Just being sneak does pay off. We get more veggies and fruits in our diets.
I'm not a veggie fan (I try, but we're not friends). But I do like salsa, bruschetta topping (tomatoes and basil), homemade marinara with carrots and celery, greens and tomatoes on a sandwich.... if you don't like veggies much, try to find other less obvious ways to sneak them into your diet each day. You can still get a variety of healthy options each day even if they're not your favorite food group.
