Ever since I was a child, instead of dessert, my family would have fruits- either split 2 pieces of fruit such as pears, mangoes, peaches or apples between the four of us or we would each get a handful of grapes or half a banana. It was the perfect amount of sweet to end a meal and eating fruits instead of dessert it is still a habit today. It's healthy plus fresh and delicious.
