When we are at home I get outside with my child. I don't think about food while I'm outdoors with her plus I'm getting exercise, getting a healthy dose of Vitamin D, and creating a memory with my daughter. So get outside!

I've recently found a health conscious, not to mention "green" method of transport around the small island town where I live - BIKING! It is so simple, saves me gas money and wear/tear on my car + all the health benefits of getting outside (fresh air :o) and gets my blood pumping! I LOVE IT :O)
Dotty-the-Dog and I head to the front door several times during the day (ie: Commercials on TV, between chores) and when she gets outside she either takes off down the drive or "bows" to me the way dogs do--Taking off means a brisk walk around our long driveway. "Bowing" means I 'have to fast jog! It's amazing how often she "bows". I get my 1/8 mile jog and so does Dotty! Several times a day!
No equipment necessary unless it's bad weather!
