When I start telling myself that 10 minutes of exercise won't make a difference, I then say out loud, "it does more than ... sitting in front of the computer, sitting on the couch, eating that last whatever."

I noticed if I sit around and think about exercising/walking I never do it. I will think until I wear myself out. Yet when I do exercise/walk, those days I just get up and get my shoes on. I never think or plan, I just do it. The key (for me at least) is not to think about doing, but instead just get up and get my shoes on. It makes all the difference.
