We think of successful weightloss in black & white. We either lose (win) or don’t lose (fail). Success is the process of working towards a goal w/o the option of quitting. A healthy lifestyle is a process that we persevere thru on a daily basis, determining to never give up. Every day we strive to do better, we succeed. Every day we try something new, we succeed. And even when we stumble, perseverence gets us up & moving again, allowing us to learn from those mistakes, & that makes us a winner!

I have found that letting others know (in life, on Facebook, etc.) has helped me stay motivated. People know I am trying to lose weight so I'm not going to want to go back on my goal! They also congratulate me which is a great reward when I post that I have lost more weight or can't find clothing that fits! It's a motivating and rewarding way to keep at my goal of losing this weight for good!
Midnight shades of foods such as black beans, black olives, black pepper, black tea, black wild rice, blackberries, black popcorn (pops white) dark chocolate and expresso have many health benefits. With antioxidants and potential anti-inflammatory agents and beneficial polyphenols these help RA, Diabetets, aid in digestion, and have heart health benefits. The dark hues on these foods may help fight cancer, alzheimer's diabetes and heart disease. I have tried them all and had a nice surprise!
