At the top of every hour stop do 25 sit ups and 25 push ups. If you can't do a real push up do the modified ones. This will not only get you into doing some exercise every day but it will also help you to increase the amount of push ups and sit ups you can do. Also helps to add stuff to your Fitness calculator.
Straight up military style calisthenics and drills will help you shed pounds and tone up without a gym or ANY equipment whatsoever aside from shoes. I'm talking Jumping Jacks, Sit-Ups, Push-Ups, High Knees, Mountain Climbers, Steam Engines, Up Downs, Military Press, Lunges and Squats. It's hard work but it pays off. Google search for military physical fitness requirements, and find your age group. It'll give you the standards and in turn something to shoot for.
