I love eating salad and vegetables in deli wraps but the flour tortilla wraps can be upto 170 cals per wraps before you add your filling, so now where possible I use a green leaf or lettuce leaf as my wrap instead.244
I wrap my tuna salad (I substitute a fat free salad dressing to step up taste instead of a light mayo) inside of large Iceberg lettuce leaves instead of a pita or wrap bread.....delicious and way less calories!
I love vegetables but during my recent healthy journey I have been eating more spinach. It is really helping me reduce my Cholesterol and improving my overall health. I add it to most everything. Soups ,salads ,wraps , pasta and even by itself with lemon juice ,sugar and olive oil I have seen an improvement in my skin. It helps to make a meal look fuller and fills me quicker. I find it takes on such wonderful flavors with whatever you cook it with. I hope others enjoys Spinach like me!! 104
