Wear a hair elastic around your wrist and every time you think a negative thought about your body or self just snap it (lightly). This way you can gauge how often you unnecessarily criticize yourself. This is for self awareness. I'm now considering buying a necklace with an anchor to hold throughout the day to remind myself to keep my balance and think uplifting / motivating thoughts about my body. Remember, you are what you predominately think so tip the scale in the positive direction!
I fell off the bandwagon since St. Paddy's Day but have decided that I am going to get back on track! It's all about finding that feeling of excitement again & reconnecting yourself to your goal. No room for regrets, only appreciation for the wonderful moments we have day to day.
Learn to be true to yourself. You cannot please everyone around you by becoming what you think they want you to be. Take time to search your inner self for what makes you Spark. Is it worth devoting your life to? If it is, it might be the best gift your can give yourself.
Keep a journal....and go back and read your entries from time to time. Do you see growth? Do you see positive change? You have to know where you're going and what you want to be in order to get to the finish line. In the midst of everything...just keep Sparkin'!!!
