I start the morning with 2 glasses of water before I allow myself my HIGHLY DESIRED cup of coffee. It has worked so far. No water, no coffee.

I try to do the same with my meals and snacks as well during the day. First the water then the meal. The coffee one in the morning though is the most motivating. A day without coffee for me is like a day without sunshine :)

Getting enough water in helps me stay hydrated and feeling better in every way. When I don't drink enough water, I feel bloated and "blah". SOO, in order to make sure I get a good start on getting in enough water in a day, I fill up a large water bottle the night before (atleast 16 oz is what I do) and stick it beside my bed. In the morning, the first thing I do is drink the water...

if you don't like room temp water you could freeze it first and then sit it by your bed so that in morning it should still be a little chilled.
When I was getting started I had the hardest time getting my water in. I made the point to pack two bottles of water with me in the car. At each stop light I take at minimum two drinks of water. By the time I get where I'm going, I have already finished one bottle. I'm actually up to two now.. Give it a try!
Many, many days of not getting enough water, but I'm getting better with it. My secret - start as early in the morning as possible. Even better to get active as early in the morning as possible to increase the need for more water.
