I did this for years! I have divided plastic plates with a cover that sealed. I put the left overs in there that made a meal. When the kids came home, they could pick the one they wanted from the freezer, zap it in the microwave and they had a nutritious meal/snack. Forgot to tell you that they were growing boys! It helped out my husband and myself too as we could pick out what we wanted to take to work for lunch!

I depend heavily on frozen TV dinners to help me stick to my calorie limit.Every one else can eat whatever they want for the family meal while I microwave my little TV dinner and do my own diet thing. I've tried legions of dinners and must say this one is one of the best ever.
MORE INFORMATION:
It is rather high in calories (280) but it is tasty, filling and has so much variety in it that the only sides I need to add are my spinach salad with Ken's light vidalia dressing and glass of skim milk (total meal: 460 calories) and I am done for the night.
I am not a person who thinks they know everything but I know what I have learnt during my travel through life. I am trying to get points across to my daughter and I think she just listens and then is going to do what she wants. She buys 6 or more TV dinners to feed the family and she could buy a cut up chicken, some hamburger and maybe something else for a couple of days dinner. Determination will continue to get the ideals across to her or GD just for there own healthy living.252
