YOUR BODY CAN DO MORE THAN YOUR MIND SAYS IT CAN DO. (I can do all things through Christ who strengthenth me)

My personal trainer has pointed this out to me & it's an amazing feeling of accomplishment.

I would encourage one to consider getting a Personal trainer, even if it's 2 days a wk. for half an hr each session. It's expensive yes, however it is worth it in other areas besides just work outs.

Its has the potential to change your life (outside of the gym, strengthening one mentally in other areas of their life, as one will continue hearing their trainers words & apply it to every day life.

Agreed. I loved working with the fitness trainer that used to be at PF. She gently pushed us to do more than I ever thought I was capable of. She's been gone a year & I still miss her classes terribly!

Thanks for the points. I am considering a personal trainer and have been weighing the options and I think I need to be accountable to someone besides myself.

I have fibromyalgia, and believe you have made a very good point about the trainer: I have had a trainer weekly for 15 years now. I credit her with keeping me from becoming totally deconditioned! In spite of my illness, I was obliged to exercise at least once a week, usually 3-5 times. Plus she saved my sanity by insisting that I COULD DO THE EXERCISES.
my mantra: Thank you, healing Lord.
