When there are situations that occur that are out of our control I find it helpful to deal with my internal stress by journaling in a big old notebook and writing my thoughts to get my emotions out and under control. I also find that I can come to a decision when it is necessary for me to take action about the stress. Journaling helps me to see things more clearly and to come to a conclusion as to how to handle it. This method works and beats eating everything in the refrigerator!
All that is needed is a big old notebook and if you have nosy roommates or relatives a good shredder.
