Don'T Feel Like Exercising? Just Get Dressed!



Whenever I don't feel like working out, my compromise is to just get dressed. I put on my work out outfit, dressed to shoes. After I look the part, it's hard to convince myself to NOT exercise, since I'm already dressed. Putting on my shoes is usually what pushes me over the edge and gets my butt in gear!

    Ironically, that is exactly how I talked someone into an unexpected workout. After I was teaching her to drive a stick, I told her I was going to the gym. She was already in sweats and a t-shirt, so she easily agreed to stay and workout until I was done. - by TJ1281
  • This is a great idea! Sometimes just getting started is dreadful (I don't feel like it... I don't want to..I know I need to...I'm tired - sound familiar?) but once I'm dressed I'm going to work out! Good tip. emoticon - by TRISH2229
