I used to have trouble working strength training into my schedule. When making tea, I used to put the water on, go sit down and wait for the water to boil, get up, pour the water into the teapot, set the timer, go sit down and wait for the tea to brew. Now, instead of sitting down, I perform strength training exercises while making tea - wall pushups, lunges, etc... Making 2 cups of tea a day can help me get up to 20 minutes of strength training. 344
I used to wait until the next day to 'start over' if I made a poor choice. I realized that I can have my 'do-over' immediately, that next minute, that next meal, I don't have to wait to forgive myself nor to make a better choice.
Times to sneak in a cup of water to make it easier to reach 8. 1. When your coffee is brewing. 2. When you're making breakfast (waiting for your toast). 3. When you're making dinner (waiting for pasta water). 4. As you're putting on makeup. 5. Waiting for tea water. 6. On hold.
