If you are feeling on edge, irritable, moody, perhaps like you're going crazy, and having menopausal symptoms, talk to your doctor. Estrogen is stored in fat. Sooooo, as your fat melts away, your estrogen hitches a ride with it and you end up shortchanged! I didn't know that! At least I know I'm not really crazzzzzy!!!!!!

So, I know this sounds crazy, but I've found I'm better able to stay on track when I cook less frequently. I'm an excellent baker and have a hard time not eating the cookies, rolls, and breads of my labors. Baking less means I eat the veggies in the house, not all those calorie-laden carbs.
I still cook, I guess, just more healthy, more often.
I always take the stairs if it's an option- when I'm at work, shopping, staying in a hotel, etc. AND I don't just take the stairs, but I run up or down! Not fast, I'm not that crazy, but at least a jog!
