Make a list
It's an amazing feeling of empowerment to check things off of a list. It gives me incentive to get things done when I can do a job and cross it out. Bonus points if you do the worst job first, and then not have to think about it for the rest of the day. Having a list will see me get more done than not having one. I have found that exercising first thing in the morning can really help me stay on target for the whole day. For example, when tempted by a craving or offered something I shouldn't eat, I find myself thinking, "I already worked out today and I'm doing so well - I don't need that!" If I haven't worked out I'm more likely to eat badly, and THEN I may not work out later because I'll be thinking, "Well, I've already ruined today, might as well start fresh tomorrow."
After being ill take your time getting back into exercising
If you have been ill for over 2 weeks or more. Start back slowly to exercise. If you do too much, too fast, you can or could relapse and be worse off. Take it easy for the first week and then slowly get back to where you were b/4 you got sick.273
