I now have for you the number 2 secret to weight loss. After years of research and trial & error I have found it. The number 2 secret to loosing weight is to move more. Wait, you say! I don't want to have to exercise. Wait, I say! I didn't say the E word. I said to move more.

You can start small and pick things up as you get smaller and stronger. Check out ~IndyGirl. She understands what moving more is all about. It does not mean to join a gym and go for hours a day. It can mean to start by flexing you feet while you watch TV. Find what works best for you, but MOVE.

  • For most of my life, the 'E' Word was Foul Language in my mind. It didn't become a habit until I started calling it "Physical Therapy" and looking at the Gym as if it were a Job that I had to show up for.
    I still don't like the 'E' Word, but I do look forward to going to the Gym and going on walks in the evening. - by LJCANNON
  • Why do we all hate the "E" word? I sometimes refer to it as "Activity" or "Working Out" myself. But, I think ExErcise is pretty close to ExOrcise -- as in Exorcise Your Extra Weight, Exorcise Your Stress, etc.

    So next time you "move more," remember what you're exorcising away.
