I work 40 to 50 hours a week, and am currently working on my doctorate. I have fallen in love with steam bags, I tend to over eat when I cook on the stove. Using the steam bags I measure and weigh everything and steam entire meals. I have also started steaming my lunch, I have never packed my lunch.
Most meals are complete in about 5 to 7 minutes, this is also wonderful for frozen foods. I have seen many complaints about the cost of the bags and there is no comparison to the energy saved and pots and pans to wash.

Quaker Oats- Oat So Simple. Does what it says on the tin basically. It's great for breakfast, snack or quick lunch. Its very easy to make as you only need to add water. The golden syrup flavoured one is very tasty and only has 190 calories. The original one is also very good and has a perfect creamy porridge texture. I like to have one of these in the morning for breakfast as it keeps me feeling full throughout the day and makes me eat less at lunch. Its very quick and easy, with no mess.
Perfect for when you're in a rush, and you still get meals fitted into a busy schedule :)
Instead of saying things like "things at work are too busy", "the kids schedule is too much", therefore I don't have time to eat healthy or exercise, use phrases like 'I will schedule time', or 'I will find healthful food choices'. Your language and self-talk affect your attitude and commitment!
