When trying to eat healthier, or learning to cook healthier, what helps me keep from thinking of "diet" is presentation. I go through the trouble of setting the table, plating the food and making everything beautiful! It helps remind me that I'm doing something special for myself!
The benefits are obvious, the effort you put into it and the final presentation are mini rewards to yourself. You aren't just getting healthier, eating better, but you're also pampering yourself!
