The scale isn't the only tool I use to measure my success! I celebrate all victories! Some of the victories I've celebrated have been staying consistent with my food diary, taking my daily vitamins, making sure I drink at least 64oz of water per day. Positive thinking and consistency is the key!
Self pampering and little rewards helps make the journey more fun.

I've been using SparkGoodies as non-food rewards for non-scale AND scale victories. I usually pick out a gold star and list why I'm giving it to myself in the comment section. This keeps me from rewarding myself with food!

Make a solid effort to take the focus off the scale....set a goal that is meaningful for you....learning to run? set a goal to run a mile without a walk interval, enter a race, Can't do a push up to save your soul? make a goal to complete a set of ten......whatever these goals....work toward them.
