I remember seeing these commercials about this hormone cortisol that is produced when you're stressed and under pressure. It inhibits us from losing weight. So since I'm under a lot of stress and pressure at work, I got a great idea to eat extremely light at work and lost 15 lbs within 2 months.

It is also very important to exercise. Exercise is a PROVEN way to burn off cortisol. It also helps you sleep at night, which is majorly important when one is stressed. Keep up the good work.

It is good to be reminded about exercise and the food. I have intermittent Cushings... too much cortisol.... It is possible to lose weight and get healthy even with obstacles. Thanks for the reminders!

I have a desk job at the moment but soon to have an on your feet job. I am tired of sitting at a desk in front of a computer all day. I agree with you that eating lite at work is a good idea especially when you are sitting all day. I also think it is important to still get the right nutrients. Were you able to eat lite while still getting he nutrients you need for the day? Eating smaller meals throughout the day?? I want to know how other people who have desk jobs keep there mind off food when they really don't need it!
