To help me get up and go to the gym in the morning, I set my alarm and place it all the way across the room. I also leave my exercise clothes beside my bed. When my alarm goes off I have to get up to shut it off so since I am already up I just get ready and go right to the gym :)

I put mine in the kitchen. On my way I turn on the shower and flip the coffee on. The dogs are so happy that I'm out of the bedroom, no chance they would let me back in bed.

I put mine across the room too and usually there is a motivational picture next to it to remind me why I run or my coffee cup to remind me to start the coffee pot!

I use my cell phone as my alarm so I'll put it in my sneakers, or between pages of a fitness magazine, or in my pile of set out exercise clothes. It's just an extra reminder of my goals.

Just Do It
I set my alarm to exercise first thing in the morning. The alarm clock is across the room on the dresser. I don't even thing about, just get up and do it!250
I put my alarm clock across the room, so I have to get out of bed to turn it off. I also put my sneakers with a leash on top of the alarm clock so I have to move them to turn it off as well. By the time I get over to the alarm clock, and pick up my shoes to turn off the alarm clock, I'm wide awake from the alarm and now my shoes are in my hand, and a dangling leash. My dog takes that as a morning cue and gets me moving!
In the winter I have trouble getting out of bed because it's so cold. I bought myself a space heater and set my alarm 30 minutes earlier. Now, I get up when the alarm goes off and turn on the space heater then go back to bed for 30 minutes. By the time I get up the room is warm and I can manage to get out of bed.
