If you're having trouble staying motivated while walking outdoors, grab the leash! I find that when I walk with my dogs I last longer than when I walk alone. I tend to focus more on them when I take them for a walk, than on myself. emoticon

    I do the exact same thing when I take my dog with me.

    WHEN I put a leash on my cat Archie he lays down and gets all, PAIN, AGONY! TAKE IT OFF! No I will not get him to walk with me. But my cat Spock and my cat Lucy both were leash trained and walked with me while I pushed my kids in the buggy.

    This has been our biggest motivator this week, getting our dogs out for walks. A tired dog is a happy dog. :)

    And once they get in the hapit is is hard to say no to them. They get to expect their walk, and often get me out in all kinds of weather, because after all it is walking time. emoticon
