If I had an early lunch and supper is running a little later than normal at home, I plug in the air popper and pop some popcorn. I like mine plain so very few calories and no fat. It keeps me til supper is ready plus makes me not as hungry so I eat less.

My best days staying on plan start with a good breakfast. Since I've always eaten breakfast that wasn't the challenge. Using the DASH diet meant leaving big bowls of cereal or 2 english muffin behind. I' 88 ve finally found a couple of alternative meals I really enjoy: 1 cup strawberries, .5c yogurt + 1 serving almonds, large apple + 1 serv simply Jif, arnold sandwich thin, lite deli ham + tomato slices. Also add my vitamin, some metamucil for fiber and 16 - 24 oz water 104
Any one of these meals will get me started on the day and keep me from feeling hungry until late morning, that is especially helpful when I'm at work!
