Overhand Pull-Up Tip

But your back muscles are stronger, so consciously focus on your back to pull yourself up and you'll surprise yourself by doing more pull-ups -- or finally doing one.

I found this out when I injured my forearm. So I focused on my back muscles and discovered it was easier.

For those who can't do one pull-up, though, put a chair or some other support underneath the bar and let your legs help you out. I did that for months. - by AUSTEXGUY
  • Definately need to give this a try. Right now even on the machine w/the weight counter balance assistance I cannot do a pull up. - by LADYJ6942
