If I find myself in a lack luster mood. Not really wanting to work out. I tell myself, let's just run down to the corner. This is only about 300 yards for me. I get to that corner and then repeat the statement. Just to that next light pole! Over and over until I find myself on mile 10!!

When out walking in your neighborhood, don't cut corners when turning at intersections. I found myself 'rounding the corners' when I turned to go in a new direction. I decided to try walking straight to the corner then sharply turning onto the next street....the difference for me was 10 extra steps! Imagine how many more steps you can get in overall, just doing this one simple adjustment.
