Almond Milk

I read an article on the benefits of almond milk and the author emphasized the great taste. I am a skeptic at heart but purchased a container to try. AMAZING! Only 40-45 calories per 8 oz if you buy the unsweetened. It is also available sweetened but with 50% more calories per serving.

MORE INFORMATION:
If the taste is too flat or you prefer it a sweeter like regular milk, add a little no cal sweetener. It has no cholesterol, no lactose, no casein, contains less saturated fat than cow's milk and for someone like me who cannot have soy products, it is an excellent, healthy substitution.

Yes Almond Milk is very good. My daughter had problems with reg. milk when she was younger and we use to give her goats milk but we found the chocolate Almond milk was a treat she really enjoyed. emoticon

I too recently switched to almond milk and love it. I've tried rice milk and it is good too but about twice the calories.

I think I like rice milk better. I usually only use rice or almond milk in smoothies. For baking or cooking I use Mocha Mix - not for low calories, but since I can't use milk, but it is creamier & richer than rice milk.
I can't stand the "green" taste of soy milk!
