I walk a lot, both the treadmill and outside. Sometimes I even run. I often have places where my shoes rub on my feet, not enough for a blister, still annoying. I now use Dr. Scholl's Moleskin. It can be cut to any size I want and is very sticky so it stays in place and protects that raw spot so
that it doesn't become worse. I have a spot just under my big toenail on the left foot and the top of my big toe on the right. If I had a cut or blister it might hurt to take it off but I've never had a problem. And by using it I prevent blisters and rawness.

Cardio activity should be about building lung capacity NOT endurance. In order to "go the distance", one needs to store fat to complete the exercise. -- In the past I trained for a marathon. Now I need a steady, day-to-day activity that allows me fitness health for the long haul--the next 30 years!!
