When I struggle getting myself to exercise (I workout at home), I tell myself to just do 10 mns. Usually that leads to at least 30
MORE INFORMATION:
I don't beat myself up for not doing 60 mns. which is my goal 4 times a week. By doing only 10 mns , at least I can keep with a schedule & not let it stop me all together.

I do the same thing. Some days it is difficult to exercise when the Fibromyalgia is in full bloom, but if I do at least 5 minutes, I have done something.

that is my very commitment to myself...i MUST give it 10 minutes before I can quit....I never JUST do 10 minutes...it's a great way to stay consistent!

Actually, I do that quite a bit for my cardio exercise and find that it works. Somehow strength training is easier for me to do

I normally do the same myself. After speedwalkin for 1 mile, I say that I can do one more and eventually I work out for 40 minutes. I have to trick myself into doing it in chucks though :)

I agree..I need to start exercising and 60 min seems to much and I think that is why I put if off. I should take your advice and start with 10-30 min.
