Sparkrecipes.com is full of great recipes. You can read comments from other members who have tried them. You can also submit your own recipes to share or keep private for just you. The great thing is that, provided you enter ingrediant amounts and serving sizes accurately, Sparkrecipes will calculate the nutrition for you. You can create cookbooks to store your favorite recipes and You can quickly add a recipe to your nutrition tracker for quick food logging!
If you spend that extra time to log your recipes on SparkRecipes, it will pay off big time in the long run! I make my own bread. I took the time to put the recipe on SparkRecipes and then weighed my entire clump of dough and put 128 oz in total servings. [see below]

Now when I have a piece of my whole grain bread, I go to my SparkRecipe and insert the oz. and add it to my nutrition tracker. It's a lot of work initially, but once it's done, you'll never have to do it again! I LOVE this tool and I ABSOLUTELY love SparkPeople!!!!
My mother was a good cook, but never changed a recipe. Instead of just following a recipe, don't be afraid to make it your own. I often change recipes to suit my tastes or make them healthier. The resut is some great recipes that are good for me. It is OK to play with your food!
