I sometimes have a problem donating platelets due to low iron count. I have discovered dried kiwi fruit is a perfect snack for boosting my iron. 3-4 pcs. are 165 cal. with 25% iron for day. Tastes great too! I eat them for a week or two and a handful of chocolate almonds the day before and that morning, and my iron count has been up!
Need to iron just the collar or button placket on a blouse or shirt quickly and not have to drag out the ironing board, iron, and wait for the iron to heat up? Use your flat iron (hair straightening iron)! My new flat iron heats up really fast and irons those areas on blouses with much more ease and in much less time than using an iron does.
