Every Sunday morning, I spend about 30 minutes looking ahead at my week and then make my menu and shopping list. If I know I have sports practices at 5:30, I know it's a crockpot night. If we have a game out of town, I'll make "sack dinners" to eat on the way thus avoiding Mcdonalds.
It took a while to get used to but I've thrown away less produce, saved money, and haven't had to come up with something healthy in a pinch.

Planning is a key element to successful weightloss and a healthy lifestyle. Just like anything you do, whether retirement, vacations, starting a family, buying a home; first you must plan. Planning helps you cover all angles, keeps you focused and on track. A healthy lifestyle is no different.
If you plan to succeed; then plan!!
When you stray from your goals the easiest way to get back on track is by planning. Plan to Succeed! Plan your food for the day Plan time to exercise.. Even if you only have 10 minutes Plan to surround yourself with supportive people Giving yourself positive feedback should be part of your plan This is a journey and you will have success if you follow your plan. Cheers!
Plan to succeed by putting exercise on your weekly schedule. Then make it the highest priority item for that day. Do not accept other invitations for that time unless you can reschedule your fitness activity for a time that you know you will committ to.
It's really easy to tell other people, 'I can't make that time, got something else on'. And it feels good to be putting your health first! 224
