  • I can not say you will not have extra skin, I have some..put I can walk, run, exercise on a daily basis now. life is sooo much better. I have my health back and that is worth it to me. - by CLOWN54
  • The first time I lost 130 pounds, I had alot of loose skin...but I tell you what, I felt soooo good I didn't care! I put on clothes that were flattering, I wore good foundation garments if i wanted to wear something that was clingy, and wore beautiful lingirie (sp) when I felt sexy. The world will not stop if your wear sleeveless and your arms jiggle! I wear it proudly, and got some tattoos that give my arms even more attention!

I don't think you will feel bad about the skin, I think you will feel happy and pround that you lost the weight! - by MVIEL1
  • there is a post somewhere on the message boards, sparkcafe I think, asking this question. The answers were positive, that with some hard work and dedication, you can work out and help tighten the skin up. I have 100 lbs to lose also, and I was encouraged by the responses. - by PHATBOTTOMGAL
  • i'm 57 and need to lose over 200 pounds BUTT(THAT'S a BIG butt!!!) i will be more healthy and THAT will make me feel better about myself...i will have more energy and THAT will make me feel better about myself...i will know what i have accomplished and THAT will make me feel better about myself...i will probably have hangy arms but i will refer to them as my 'wings' that helped me get this far and i will feel better about myself...
when YOU have energy, smaller clothes, better health, YOU will feel better about yourself, too...i promise...karen3 - by THREEE
i think u will look just very beautiful - by SUGARNSPICE2K1
  • Don't worry about what the body will look will feel so much better, and be so much healthier!! - by SUNNYARIZONA
  • You will feel soooo much better! I know I can do things that I couldn't do before and I have much more energy. So, it's worth it! - by IAFARMERWIFE
  • i think that all the extra energy the proudness of accomplishment and all will be enough for u to know u did the right thing in lossing it and if ur husband is not proud of your accomplishment then it is time to look elsewhere emoticon - by DJHS121655
Sometimes the way other people see you is a reflection of how you are feeling about yourself. As you start to feel more energetic and alive, your husband may realize that the beautiful person he married is there no matter what you weigh. - by TIGGGG
  • If my husband was "upset" with how I look now, I'd be more worried about finding a decent husband than how my body will look post-weight loss. Just sayin'. It is quite possible HE won't be happy with the result. YOU, on the other hand, are the person whose opinion about this matters. I agree with the other posts - you'll love the result, even though you may never have a perfect body. Hang in there! - by JENLUVSSP
  • You will feel great, probably won't even realize it. Just be conscious of the size your wearing. I went from an 18 pants, now I'm a 10 -12. I've had 2 C sections and 2 hernia's in the same place. I've still got the pouch just an emptier one. It's all good.

  • I think that if you dont lose it too fast and exercise that you won't have too much excess skin. I hope not, I have lost over 60 myself and am working on the other 40 and so far, I don't think I look too bad. I am currently exercising and hoping to tone up and if it doesn't work and when I have lost all of the weight, if I am flabby, I will consider a tummy tuck as a reward - by DLEE68
  • You will look great!! I have 'wings' too .. but I have so much energy now & I feel great! Our wings will always be with us no matter what we do .. it's a 'woman' thing! It's so nice to get into smaller clothes .. it was really worth it. I am 76 and still have the remains of my 'baby pouch' ... I just suck it in, it ain't going anywhere! - by KOOLNANA5
