When you start out write all the reasons you're doing this and get it laminated. This will then be a constant reminder to you, make several copies and put them where you need them most such as on the fridge, inside food cupboards

Make a small list of reasons why you want to lose weight and are willing to work hard toward that goal. Carry these reasons on a small piece of paper and bring with you where you can whip it out and read it at times when you need to remind yourself -like making a tough food choice.
When cleaning a room,take 2 things out or put 2 things away!
I have a " work-in-progress"room I am cleaning~~the scrapbook room [or as we scrappers say-the "scrap" room]! I am trying to get it ALL cleaned ,but with a preschooler under foot and all the housework this stay-at-home mom is doing,it's not HIGH on the list [my reason--I can close and lock the doors!--though I DEARLY LOVE TO SCRAPBOOK AND WANT TO FINISH IT!]. So,for now, when I pass by the room or go into it,I ALWAYS try to put TWO things back in their place or take them out to where they should

be--another room,the BIG trash can outside,etc. This HELPS ME feel that SOMETHING IS GETTING ACCOMPLISHED in that room ,even if it is a small way of cleaning up~[Note: it IS a very small room!].
