We have all heard not to grocery shop when hungry. Let me add another. Learned the hard way that you shouldn't grocery shop when sleepy either. I ended up not paying attention to what I was buying. I ended up with a lot of junk that I put directly into my mouth when I got home.

When I go grocery shopping, I am surprised by the kinds of foods I don't buy anymore. Ice cream, chips, soda. I see them in other shopping carts & wonder why people are wasting their nutrition dollars on junk when they could have yogurt, oranges, and lemon water instead. My tastes HAVE changed!

Every Sunday night I like to make a list of all the stuff I will eat for the next 7 days by browsing spark receipes and staying within budget I go to the store with an exact list of everything I need, I dont stray from the list which helps me avoid buying unhealthy fooda that I dont need.
