I use a ball chair at work. I don't slouch, and I keep balancing, just enough to keep my abs sucked in and back straight. I don't have a backache anymore, and at the end of the day I am less tired.

Whenever you are standing, think about the long chain of muscles in the back of your body supporting your spine - calves, hamstrings, gluteals, back, neck - and imagine them as long and strong. Continue that extension through the crown of your head. Don't slouch!

Our mothers always told us not to slouch. Mom was smart! Good posture makes you look better, and in turn makes you FEEL better about yourself. That will drive you to be the best you can be, including getting healthy. Which will make you feel better, etc, etc. So set those shoulders, look people in the eye and have a great day!
