I have noticed that as long as I keep the things I crave visible they are easier to resist- but the second I clean out all the candy, coookies, etc out of my house, car, office, etc I crave it more and it's all I can think about...but if it's around I don't think about it- or eat it

If you cant avoid eating out, order a kids meal. They have smaller portions and have more visible healthy options. Subway has yogurt and apple slices, Chick fil a has fruit cups and almost all have milk. If I am craving a burger, a kids meal will meet that craving without blowing my calorie count
I keep the Spark People page open on my computer all day long - it makes it convenient to track the foods as I need them - it also makes it a very VISIBLE reminder of what I am doing and WHY I am doing it. When I feel a craving or something come on, I can grab a quick glance at my goals and remind myself that it just ISN'T WORTH IT.
