I place a silver star on a calendar for every 30 minutes of cardio and a red star for every 20 minutes of strength training. It's a wonderful motivator. (I do track in SP too; but visualizing my success in several ways is important to me).

For everyday that I do exercise, I put a Star on my Calender on my refrigerator. I bought the bright reflective florescent kind! There is just something about seeing 5 bright stars on my week at the end of the week, that makes me feel like I have a accomplished what I set out to do. I feel like a Rock Star!

Gold Star! Did you stand up for yourself (politely) instead of swallowing your anger? Gold star! Did you NOT treat yourself like a trash can and eat those few leftover bites? GOLD STAR! When you've accumulated enough gold stars, go and treat yourself. You've EARNED it by being a better person!
I bought a 99 cents wall calendar for 2010 and a couple of packages of shiny foil stick-on stars, and now I put a star on the days when I do the exercise I want to remember. Each month that fills up with shiny stars makes me feel delighted, just like when I was a kid! 888
