I've started using other grains for breakfast like 'rolled' barley, rye, buckwheat & triticale. They look just like rolled oats but each has a different flavor & ALL are good for you. I throw in some dried cranberries & sprinkle with some hemp seeds or flax meal with my almond milk. Mmm mmm good!
Craving a delicious creamy banana split? Try this low fat/low carb alternative: Use one container of Yoplait Light Very Vanilla fat free yogurt, 2 tablespoons of sugar free chocolate syrup, one small banana 1/2 cup fresh, cut strawberries. Place the yogurt in a small dessert dish, surround with banana slices and top with strawberries then garnish with chocolate syrup.
